Alumnus - Carissa Krontz
Carissa Krontz, a 2005 graduate of Calhoun Christian, is a senior at Anderson University in Indiana where she is pursuing an elementary education degree. Carissa was the 2007 CCS Athlete of the Year, and athletics are still an important part of her life. After scoring 1000 points for the Cougars in basketball and playing 6 years on the volleyball team, she still enjoys sports at the college level in intramurals. During her sophomore year, she and her teammates were campus champions in both volleyball and flag-football. As a Resident Assistant for her dorm, Carissa has found that having a strong prayer life is crucial to her leadership of college freshman girls who are testing their freedom wings! She enjoys weekly Bible studies and fellowship with her fellow floormates, maintains nearly a 3.0 point grade average, and attends "The Bridge", an interdenominational church in Anderson. Carissa does miss her CCS friends, but has acclimated to college life quite well and knows that she is where God wants her to be. |
